Sales/Marketing Executive

Specific Role
• To efficiently and effectively identify, source and create relationships and close deals in Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities
• Generate sales of properties with existing and new Clients and Prospect
• Generate new clients to increase the company's client database
• Develop and increase sales by following up on potential clients through visits and meetings
• Develop innovative ideas to boost sales
• To understand the products, and to communicate them effectively
• Develop, establish and maintain market strategies to meet organizational objectives.
• List details of land or buildings for sale
• Assess buyers' needs and locate properties for their consideration
• Advise on merits of properties and the terms of sale
• Ensure proper management of account
• Make presentations of company products to current and potential clients.
• Prepare and send weekly report to immediate supervisor
• Prepare a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up, closings, and adherence to targets.
• Accompany clients during their visit to any of company’s estates/property locations for inspection
• Interview clients to know what type of properties they want
• Coordinate closing of deals and signing of document schedule
• To visit and show the company's estates/products to prospective clients
• Interview clients to determine what kinds of properties they are seeking.
• Responsible to build and maintain an excellent relationship with clients on an ongoing basis
• Assist the company with Marketing, Branding, Planning and Development etc.
• Discover new opportunities for the company constantly.
• Communicate new opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity to designated personnel.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by management

Dangote Lagos Refinery To Start Operations In 2018

The proposed Dangote oil refinery situated in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos is expected to be functional by the first half of 2018, an official with the company has disclosed.

According to the Dangote Industries’ operations director for petroleum refining, Mr. George Nicolaides, the plant will be able to process 500,000 barrels of crude a day. The new production capacity of the refinery exceed the earlier announced 400,000 barrels a day.

In an interview at the Platts African Refining Summit in Cape Town Monday, he said: “The site is being cleared, the plant is cleared and is close to the beginning of detailed engineering.”

The Dangote group got a $3.3 billion loan with 12 Nigerian and foreign lenders to build the refinery as well as a petrochemical and fertilizer complex costing a total of $9 billion. “Supplying the local market is the primary objective. Naturally we can move product to the region. The government is being very supportive, very enthusiastic about this project. We are not looking for or wanting any particular subsidies.” Nicolaides said.

Dangote selected Engineers India Ltd to do most of the detailed engineering work for the new plant. Construction contractors are yet to be appointed.
