ONE DAY, MY DAD CAME TO OYO WITH THE LATE BABA SUWE; IT WAS LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON COMING DOWN – YEMI ELESHO

Yemi Elesho, son of veteran actor Adewale Elesho, shared the story of the first time he saw his father in person after finding out who he was. The visit was brief, happening when his father came to their town with the late actor Baba Suwe. However, Yemi did not get to speak with him directly.

Yemi described the excitement in the town, where people saw the actors as huge stars. He compared their arrival to "Michael Jackson coming down." Although his father did not know him personally at the time, the visit made Yemi's connection to his famous dad feel more real to him.

Yemi Elesho said: "One day, he came to Oyo with the late Baba Suwe. Then, there was nothing like 'celeb,' or maybe we didn't know the meaning of celebrity. We used to call them 'stars.' So it was as if Michael Jackson came down. Did he know you? I said he came to our house to visit, but he didn't spend 15 minutes. They came to film." He Said.
