How to Confirm the Authenticity of a property Title in Lagos State. PART 1.

• Ask for a survey plan and ask a competent surveyor to ensure that the site you've visited falls with the stipulated survey plan.
• Ask for a copy of the land document. Check it's Authenticity at Lands bureau at Alausa Ikeja.
• Schedule a site visitation, Also ensure that the land you visited, falls within the coordinates stipulated on the survey plan of the site. Go with a surveyor or use a GPS to pick the coordinates of the site.
• Use these coordinates to crosscheck what this plot of land has been set aside for from the master plan at the Ministry of physical planning and urban development. ALAUSA.
• Avoid land that's been set aside for Agricultural purposes or other government uses. Stick to those mapped out for residential purpose,
