Sheikh Ibn Baz رحمه الله said:
"Zakatu-l- Fitr should be given on the twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth, and thirtieth day of Ramadan, as well as on the night and morning of Eid before Eid prayer"
Giving it after the Eid prayer is not zakat but voluntary charity.
It should be given to the needy Muslims and family members who are really in need apart from father, mother and children because they are your direct responsibility.
One Saa' (4 Muddu) = 1 person.
May Allah accept it from us.

If you offer Zakat al Fitr in cash because people need it, can you also stop slaughtering rams during the "Ileya" festival and turn them into cash? People need financial assistance during this time.
If you do not follow Sunnah, you will become a slave of Ikhwanis and Sufis.
