Happy Father’s Day in heaven.
*Not a day passes that I don’t feel the space you left behind, yet today I choose to fill it with gratitude instead of only tears. Thank you for the name you gave me and the legacy you built long before I understood what legacy meant*
*Thank you for your hands. I remember how firm they were when you corrected me, and how gentle they became when you prayed for me. You taught me that strength isn’t about raising your voice, but about keeping your word. You showed me that a man’s true wealth is in the character he leaves in his children*
*Thank you for your sacrifices. The late nights, the hard choices, the things you went without so we could have more. I see it clearly now. You didn’t just provide for us, you prepared us. Every lesson, every proverb, every “do it well or don’t do it at all” still guides me*
*I miss your laugh that could fill a room. I miss your advice that I sometimes ignored and later wished I’d taken. I miss the way you called my name NURENI. But I carry you with me. In the way I treat people, in the way I show up for family, in the way I refuse to quit when things get hard*
