One thing I've noticed is that people often talk about the cost of making a wrong decision.....Very few people talk about THE COST OF MAKING NO DECISION AT ALL.
Think about it,The job you never applied for because you didn't think you were qualified, The skill you wanted to learn but kept postponing, The business idea you kept saying you'd start "next month", The investment opportunity you kept watching until it became too expensive.
Sometimes, we are so afraid of making the wrong move that we end up making no move at all. And while we are waiting for certainty...Time keeps moving,Other people keep learning,Other people keep building, Other people keep growing.
I've seen this in real estate too. Some people spend years saying, "I'll buy when the price comes down" but in many cases, the price doesn't come down.
Then they look back and say, "I should have bought it then".
Now, this doesn't mean you should rush into every opportunity,Far from it,Do your research,
Ask questions,Understand the risks but don't let the fear of making a mistake stop you from making progress.
One lesson I'm still learning is this:
You don't need perfect information to make every decision.
Sometimes, you just need enough information to take the next step.
Progress doesn't always come from getting everything right, It often comes from being willing to move, learn, adjust, and keep going.
So as you start this new week, ask yourself:
What decision have you been postponing that your future self will thank you for making today?
