When we first walked into Project OBA in 2020, one thought crossed our minds:

“This doesn’t feel like a home in Banana Island.”
Not because of the address, but because the space wasn’t living up to its potential.

So we stripped away the visual noise, softened the palette, introduced warmth, texture and balance, and created a living room that finally matched the lifestyle it was meant to serve.

Looking back six years later, we’d still make that same design decision.

One of the most satisfying things in design is seeing reality catch up to the vision.

Project TA began as an empty space with endless possibilities.

What followed was a process of translating ideas into 3D, and 3D into a home that could be lived in and loved.

Looking back at this 2021 project reminds us why we still obsess over the details.

FIVE28 time capsule | Project AP

In 2016, we got a call to design a little girl’s bedroom. Four years later, the phone rang again.

Same client. Bigger vision.
This time, it was the living area.

What started as a space filled with dark finishes and heavy furniture became a brighter, softer, more inviting home designed around how the family lives today.

The moment that stayed with us wasn’t the reveal itself.
It was hearing that same little girl walk in and say: “Our house looks like a hotel in Dubai.”

Some projects come and go.
Others become relationships.
