*Can you beat this?*
*HE RECORDED HIS *PARENTS* 😭😭😭
Yesterday, I represented the boys in my organization at a program organised for parents and guardians in their school and I heard the 'unheard of' (from my end anyway, I don't know of your end.)
A student's phone was confiscated by his teachers, and his mother came to the school to advocate for its return. After so much back and forth, they called the mother aside to tell her the content of what the boy was watching on his phone.
Colour me shock, when I heard that the content of what was being watched by this boy and his friends, was an adult film of his parents in the Oza room. 🙆😭
Yes, you read right.
As if that wasn't enough, the boy was reported to have told his classmates that, "do you know your mother's 'ringing tone?' Come listen to my mother's and compare with your girlfriend's" You can guess the mother's reaction at this revelation.🤦
To say I was shocked is an understatement. I kept thinking over this all through yesterday, and I thought to bring it out today. So many things are going on with our children in school, and we need intentional parenting to be able to survive. Many of these young ones are being negatively influenced, by peers who have been damaged by a damaged adult.
With the advent of technology in the form of Android phones, more harm than good is being done to the pubescent minds of our teenagers. E duro na, what on earth could have made any child record his parents' lo******ng session?😭
I have heard of so many atrocities committed by children/teenagers, but this beats it all. Please, what are parents not doing right?
⚠️ How did that boy install a camera in his parents' room without their knowing?
⚠️ How will they feel at that realization of having been recorded by their own biological son?
⚠️ What was the motivation for him to do the 'unthinkable?'
⚠️ Wait, how did he know when they were to 'do' it?
⚠️ For how long has he been going around with that video? 😭
⚠️ Is the boy into cultism, because I can't seem to wrap my head around why one's child will go that length.
⚠️ What if the video has been shared by his friend before the teacher came, what will become of the parents 'face?'
⚠️ Does that boy need help? Yes, he definitely does.
It's time for the church (children department), mosques, schools (some of these teachers have seen and heard enough, kudos to them) and the community to rise up! The tide is rising, and who but us should be ready to save our children from sinking?
Parents, let's rise up and fight this scourge of immorality spreading amongst our children, on our knees and with our actions.
May we not fail in our parenting, Amen!
