Someone asked me recently what I actually do.
Not my job title. Not the company. What I really do.
I paused for a moment.
On paper, I sell luxury real estate in Lagos. But in reality, it doesn’t feel like selling. Not in the rooms I sit in or the calls I take.
The people I speak with are already accomplished. They’re not just searching for property — they’re searching for certainty. They want to be sure that the decision they’re about to make aligns with their family, their investments, and their long-term vision.
My role is to provide that clarity.
It means I listen more than I speak. I pay attention to what’s not being said. I understand where the hesitation is coming from. And sometimes, I advise; maybe not now — even when a deal could be closed immediately.
Because in this business, trust is the only currency that truly compounds.
And when a client returns — not out of obligation, but by choice — that’s when it becomes clear.
That’s the work.
