*THE LAND HE REFUSED TO BUY* 😢
About 8 years ago, a man was offered a plot of land in a developing area of Lagos.
The price was just ₦500,000.
He had the money, but he kept postponing the decision.
"Let me wait until next year," he said.
A year later, the same land was selling for ₦1.2 million.
He still didn't buy.
A few years later, roads were constructed, businesses moved into the area, and development increased rapidly.
Today, that same plot is worth several millions of naira.
The painful part?
He eventually bought land in the same area, but at a much higher price.
His words were:
"I didn't lose money because I invested. I lost money because I delayed."
One of the biggest mistakes people make is waiting for land prices to come down. In most developing areas, land rarely gets cheaper as development increases.
The best time to invest is usually before everyone else sees the opportunity.
