THE NIGERIAN INSTITUTION OF ESTATE SURVEYORS & VALUERS (NIESV) KOGI BRANCH ATTENDS A ONE DAY TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING ORGANIZED BY ASSOCIATION OF ESTATE AGENTS IN NIGERIA, HELD ON THE 22ND SEPTEMBER, 2022 AT DAFEAYO HOTEL CONFERENCE HALL, LOKOJA-KOGI STATE
The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) been mother of AEAN, witness another landmark achievement in human capacity knowing that estate agency is just one amongst many functions of Estate Surveying and Valuation profession. This workshop was well attended by AEAN members and other stakeholders within and outside Lokoja.
The involvement and participation of NIESV members at the just concluded workshop, made the training/capacity building program a huge success. A good numbers of topics were discussed while questions and answers, shows that the trainees/beneficiaries really assimilate the subject.
Lectures/topics and goodwill messages was delivered.

(1). The Rudiments of Estate Management: by Alhaji Asimi Jimoh (CEO Jimfash Property);
(2). Ethics of Estate Agency Practice: by ESV Eniwaiye John O. (HPS, NIESV KOGI BRANCH)
(3). Filing and file management: by ESV Taiwo S. Bayegunsi (Registrar, Lands Directorate).
While goodwill messages were given amongst others by ESV Ekundayo Ayodele of Ekundayo Ayodele & Partners, and ESV Elder Aduku Apeh Philips, the Chairman NIESV Kogi State Branch. Who stressed that "training, research and education" is one of the current Institution's President four(4) poinet agenda for his administration. As he further warned members of Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria (AEAN) to totally shun all forms of sharp practices, misrepresentation, deceit, misconducts, and it likes that will not promote good conduct going forward.
While giving the closing remarks, the AEAN Chairman on behalf of the Executives and members express their gratitude to NIESV for not distancing herself and for the collaboration enjoyed so far form the Institution. He further strengthen the tie, by telling members to try as much as possible to inculcate ethical principles while appreciating Esv John Eniwaiye, for taking responsibility in acting fully in the capacity of ESV Yemi Ilaya, as he also mentioned others for their well presented lecture's; as he immediately charge executives of AEAN to look into the ethics lecture script and see how these ethical principles will become part of the Association members conducts, way of life and dealings.
The closing prayer was said by ESV Abdulwasiu F. Mohammed (the NIESV Branch, Welfare Secretary).
