When NEPA brought prepaid meters, we were so happy. We thought our problems were finally over.
As a landlord with tenants, I was happy because everybody would now be responsible for their own light. No more chasing people for bills or paying what others refused to pay.
But we didn't know what was coming.
How can ₦1,000 give you just 4 units? You recharge ₦5,000, and before you know it, you're recharging again.
And before someone says it's because of arrears, the arrears were already addressed before the prepaid meter was given to us.
So honestly, what is going on? Are we the only ones experiencing this?
How many units does ₦1,000 give you in your area?
Is this from frying pan to fire?
