A FATHER..
He wakes before the sun.
Not because he isn’t tired, but because he doesn’t have the luxury to sleep in.
There are mouths to feed. Bills to pay. Dreams to fuel that are not his own.
So he tightens his belt, squares his shoulders, and walks out—again—into a world that rarely sees him.
The father.
Provider. Protector. Priest. Pillar.
He carries responsibilities that would break a lesser man.
From the needs of his immediate family to silent expectations from his in-laws…
From the pressure to succeed in his career, to the unspoken duty of fixing everyone else’s problems—
He bears it all, not because he has superpowers, but because he must.
No one asks how he’s coping.
Nobody notices when his smile begins to fade.
Society does not check if the weight is too heavy.
Because he is a man.
And “real men” are supposed to have it all together—even when they are quietly falling apart.
He teaches his children to walk, only to one day watch them run into a world that forgets the hands that held them steady.
He sacrifices his youth, so his family can have comfort.
He fights silent wars in his mind—battles of fear, failure, fatigue—and yet still comes home with bread in one hand and peace in the other.
When the roof leaks, when the car breaks down, when the school fees are due—he is the first name they call.
But when appreciation is shared, when flowers are given, when stories of love are told—his name is often missing.
Fathers cry too, but mostly in secret.
They dream too, but often give it up for others.
They love fiercely, but often without being told, “I love you” back.
This is for the fathers who stayed.
Who gave. Who broke in silence and healed in shadows.
This is for the men who are more than providers—they are the quiet heroes of every home.
To every father bearing the world on your shoulders, even when no one claps for you—we see you now.
And we honor you.
Not just on Father’s Day.
But every single day you choose your family over your own comfort.
Thank you.
For everything.
Even the things we never noticed.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY ❤️
