In EZE v. FRN
CITATION: (2018) LPELR-46112(CA), as counsel for the Appellant, we had successfully argued that the drug known as "Tramadol" does not qualify as part of the "other substances" prohibited under Section 19 of the NDLEA Act, tramadol being a clinical drug used in treatment of severe headaches and pain upon doctor's prescription. The three wise men of the Court of Appeal had agreed with us and upheld our arguments.
The Appellant who was sentenced to five years for unlawful possession of drugs similar to co***ne under Section 19 of the NDLEA Act was thus set free.
