It’s quite common here in Nicaragua for people to raise chocoyo parrots as pets. They’re playful, curious, and usually not shy about making some noise around the house.
In the wild, they live in large, noisy flocks and even nest inside termite mounds in trees. Their diet is made up of seeds, fruit, and flowers. 🌺
