In the meantime finished, but here the next step in the renovation of the Marnix building. Almost open for renting rooms, but a bit behind of uploading pictures. here a new start.

Here some pictures of the new Marnix building interior, windows and slidingdoors, new opening for future stais to basement. Diificult to see how the layout will be, so for you, just some impressions.

Concreet in basement is completed, floor and walls are connected and now the steel construction is made. Most of the steel you can see now, is to support the rear side of the building and a partition wall above the ground floor level, so the walls on the ground floor and basement can be removed and steel beems can be placed.

After finishing the steel poles, a concreet slab is made, In the end, this is going to support the whole building.

Marnix Apartments building renovations.

After demolition of the interior and basement floor, steel foundation piles are brought into the ground. Special about these is, they are going to contain heat exchangers, in a later stadium they will be used for heating of the basement and ground floor.
