You can jog along the river Amstel in the morning, or enjoy a drink on one of the many terrace bars while admiring the sunset. Within a short walk, you’ll be able to find many cafes, restaurants, and bars. Crossing the river will get you into De Pijp neighbourhood that’s popular for its daily flea market, Albert Cuyp market, and for its many shops, restaurants, and bars. There’s 3 parks within 5-10 min cycling of the apartment: Oosterpark, Park Frankendael, or the popular Sarphatipark. You also have very good public transportation connections: metro station Wibautstraat is just around the corner (2 stops from the city centre, 4 stops from the Central Station), tram station Wibautstraat/Ruyschstraat for tram number 3 is 5min walk away.
