How fast do you want your food. Only at FEBO

You see them everywhere in the Netherlands. And almost nowhere else in the world, the fast food automatiek (vending machine for fast food). While it might seem incredibly bizarre to foreigners, in the Netherlands it is common for fast food restaurants owned or franchised by FEBO to serve burgers and other fried foods through vending machines.

Head into any FEBO and you’ll see an array of hot snacks including hamburgers, kroketten and frikandellen displayed behind glass doors. Put some coins into the slot and voila; dinner is served.

Technical inspection

Tip for buying a house: Have a technical inspection included in the dissolving conditions of your purchase contract. A technical inspection costs time and money and often makes the seller impatient. Nevertheless, it is important to know the condition of a house before you make your final offer. The law states that buyers have to do their best to investigate a house for defects (the 'Obligation to Investigate').

Summary of tonight's press conference (translated by Genoveva Geppaart):

1. As of 11 May primary schools and childcare can open again. Primary schools will be open for 50%. Secondary schools will probably be open from 1 June on, but they have to stick to 1.5 meter distance (contrary to primary schools).

2. Children up to 12 year old can sport outside also in teams. Children aged 12-18 year can only sport if they keep a distance of 1.5 meter. Adults can only sport individually.

3. All events until 1 September will be forbidden.

4. Visits to people in nursing homes will still be impossible.

5. All other rules will be extended until 20 May.
