Foreigners have purchased a record number of homes in Albania last year.
Bank of Albania data shows that foreign investments in real estate in Albania reached a record value of 561 million euros, up 48% compared to 2024.
Meanwhile, at the end of last year alone, 25% of home buyers were foreigners. Of these, about 52% are citizens of EU countries.
Overall, the share of transactions in which buyers are non-residents has shown an increasing trend over the last 5 years.
