Friday question: How Dutch has your weekend become?

When you first moved to the Netherlands, you probably had very different ideas about how you’d spend your weekends.

Now suddenly you’re:

🚲 Cycling somewhere you could absolutely have driven
☕ Sitting on a terrace the second the sun appears
🌷 Planning your day around a local market
🥐 Popping to the bakery for “just one thing”
🌳 Heading out for a walk because the weather is actually nice
📱 And somehow still checking Funda even though you’re not moving 👀

So tell us, what is one very Dutch weekend habit you’ve picked up since moving here?

August certainly kept us busy!

It’s been a month filled with viewings, offers, handovers and plenty of happy faces — including this lovely purchase check-in in Leiderdorp.

Helping our clients reach the point where they can finally call a home their own never gets old, and we’re so pleased to have been part of this one.

A lovely home, happy new owners and a pretty great way to round off a very busy August!

We had such a lovely morning together taking photos, laughing and just enjoying our time together.

It’s not often that we all get to see each other as we live and work in different parts of the Netherlands, but when we do get the chance to all be together, it’s always time well enjoyed.

Some views just stop you in your tracks.

Imagine standing in your kitchen, making your morning coffee and looking out of the window to this: water, boats passing by and a view you’re probably never going to get tired of.

We recently secured this beautiful home for one of our clients, and we have to admit, the view from the kitchen window might just be one of our favourite parts.
