Azuma Baia takes shape.

The palette stays close to the earth it sits on, plastered walls in warm ochre, timber slats cut narrow enough to break light into lines rather than blocks. Cylindrical forms repeat through the structure, columns rising from the pool, doorways curved instead of squared off, softening what could have read as heavy.

Every corridor is oriented to catch low, angled light rather than flood it. Every opening was sized before it was decorated.

Mustard velvet and olive drapery sit against a charcoal palette, warm tones chosen to hold their own in low light.

Outside, dark timber slats set against a mosaic-tiled pool, the kind of pattern that changes with the water's movement rather than staying still.

The bathroom continues that same logic in reverse, green and white tile against black grout, a wood-framed mirror the one soft edge in an otherwise angular room.

The roofline breaks first, timber slats catching light before the walls do.

Ungu, our ongoing project, is built in rounded volumes, terracotta plaster over a cactus garden that replaces where a lawn might normally sit.

A rooftop pergola frames the view above; downstairs, the pool sits close to the building, low against gravel and stone rather than manicured edges.

Underwater fiber optic lighting sits beneath the pool's surface, invisible in daylight, fully alive after dark.

The system was integrated directly into the pool's structure during construction, not added after, allowing the light source to sit flush beneath the water rather than beside it.

, the space is built to shift with the hours, from golden hour gathering to a quieter, lit-from-within evening.

Once the hotel opens its doors, this is where mornings will slow down and evenings will glow, one of many details built to be experienced, not just seen.
