A heart and mind in sustainable design. ❤️ Pharos would not be Pharos without the incredible work of and her team at . We recently had a chat with this great design mind to learn more about her process when conceiving the interiors of our healthy working building and what she feels like was accomplished in the end product. ⤵
"Me and my team were selected to design all the commune spaces inside the multi-tenant building and to collaborate with the architect on the renovation of the exterior. Commissioned by our client Cairn Real Estate we have created a corporate but warm environment where hospitality serves the tenants and visitors of the building.
The look and feel of the whole ground floor and top floor (entrance, restaurant, meeting room box, traffic space, bar/lounge, meeting rooms, reload room, and flex-work space) is organic, colourful, and spacious. There is a large diversity in spots where people can meet each other and feel the good vibes of the biophilic design. With our custom-designed and hand-made light fixtures of Ruwe Bolster (), we have made the conceptual principles (Zero waste, Vibrant Community, Maximum Health and Total Energy) of the client visible for the users of the building. By up-cycling materials and selecting nature-friendly (new) materials for the renovation of the interior, we did our best to make the building as sustainable as possible and bulletproof for the future.
It’s an honour to be part of the design team of Pharos and we are proud of the fact that our work inspired several new tenants to hire our team to design their own office inside the building. They say that the interior of the commune spaces feeds them with positive energy… Mission completed!"
