CONSUNJIS STANDING TALL IN A CONDO GLUT

While the local condominium market is still drowning in a sea of empty condos, DMCI Homes is finding a way to earn more while the market works through the excess.

The property arm of the Consunji family increased its second-quarter earnings contribution to DMCI Holdings by 49% to ₱1.05 billion from ₱705 million, as stronger residential revenue, fewer cancellation-related reversals and revenue grew faster than costs.
