What a day on the water! 💪🎣

We had an amazing day recently, with six halibut landed!

Our entire team loves fishing, and this week our very own Paul Stevens paid us a visit and managed to land this beast. 🤩

Paul looks after our bookings and is normally one of the first points of contact when guests make an enquiry, so it was great to get him away from the emails and out on the water with us for a change!

Autumn is well and truly here on Sørøya now, so let's see what the next few weeks bring as the water temperatures continue to fall and these incredible fish move into shallower waters.

We have a feeling there's still plenty more to come... 🎣

When the BFA crew finally get to go fishing together😎
Bilal, Mons, Henrik and Paul headed offshore in search of some big coalfish, and it didn’t take long before things kicked off. Big fish, long runs and screaming reels, with several solid ones pushing the 10kg mark. Doesn’t get much better🌊

🎣 Like father, like son!

Our guide Kai Finbråten had a special visitor last week when his son came to spend some time with him here on Sørøya. 😍

And it looks like they made the most of it, enjoying some fantastic father-and-son time out on the water together!

Fishing is such a great way to spend quality time with family, make memories and, hopefully, catch a few fish along the way. 🎣

As the waters around Sørøya start to cool, the halibut are moving into shallower water. 😎🎣

These two anglers certainly took full advantage, and judging by those smiles, we'd say mission accomplished! 👏

September and October can be a fantastic time for halibut fishing here on Sørøya.

This is what a day on Sørøya looks like... 🎣

Boats on the water, rods ready, incredible surroundings and hopefully a few halibut along the way!

Sometimes it's easy to focus on catching the biggest fish, but a Big Fish Adventure is about the whole experience. Getting out on the water with your friends, exploring the incredible coastline around Sørøya and, of course, enjoying some fantastic fishing.

This happy angler certainly had a good day, finishing it off with a beautiful halibut. 👏🤩

What a fantastic day we had with this group aboard our Apex Guide Boat! 🤩🎣

August has been an incredible month here at Big Fish Adventure, with our guides out on the water pretty much every day.

This group certainly made the most of their time on the Apex Guide boat, enjoying some excellent fishing, plenty of great catches and, most importantly, lots of laughs.
