Welcome to my quilt page! Over the years since I started quilting in 1978, I have made quite a few and I have pictures of several of them here.. Some of the older ones I need to transfer from 35 mm slides to e-format, so these will be added later.
In addition to that, I was the person who initiated and ran the Norwegian Quilter's Association's drive "Tepper som varmer" - Warming quilts. I started this drive in 1995 and ran it for 10-15 years, collecting quilts from quilters in Norway and distributed them to permanently ill kids in several hospitals. We started with the cancer hospital, and added cancer units in other university hospitals, then added other long-term illnesses all over Norway. By the time I stopped working for this we had collected some 3000-4000 quilts, and now, nearly 30 years later, the drive is bigger than ever. I am actually proud to have started this! And even more proud that it continues so many years later. Each kid gets to choose a quilt that will be his/hers forever. See also the page Tepper som Varmer.
