The TV in the apartment is only connected to a chromecast instead of traditional TV cable. The reason is that most of our guests are from outside Norway and it's a bit difficult for them to watch Norwegian programmes. But how do I watch the World Cup from the Chromecast? Don't worry, the national TV in Norway is streaming the match to the internet anyway, and here is how you can access and cast it to the chrome cast. If you have a laptop with you with Chrome browser, you can just go to https://tv.nrk.no/direkte/nrk1.

In case that you cook, the apartment has installed a stove guard as a mandatory equipment for flats in the city center. And some times it’s too sensitive.

Please don’t use full power and always put a pan on before turn on the stove to make whoever designed the stove guard happy.

And if it’s triggered, you will hear beeps behind the stove. It’s not your fault, nothing is broken and don’t panic ^^

Please press the button in the white box under the hood. If that doesn’t solve the problem. There is metal key in the white cupboard in the living room. Use the key to open the white door outside of the apartment and at oppsite wall to the elevator. Pull the “7” handle down for 30 sec will reset it ( sorry that’s the only way to reset it).

We recently found a small restaurant quite nearby which offers surprisingly delicious food. My favorite is the crispy duck, but any food seems to be tasty. It's 3 minutes walk from the apartment and the owner of the restaurant claims that he can deliver the food for free (on delivery).

What do you think? maybe it's time to try it out, it's just a phone call away anyway :)

The flat TV is connected with Chrome cast! Open your YouTube app, connect to the WiFi, the you can stream the video to the flat TV!
