If you fancy a walk ,there is a walkway from Fantail Cottage at the Akaroa Cottage property (this joins the walkway from Childrens Bay) turn right at the crocodile and it's about 30 minutes to the top. Fabulous views. Look out for the sculptures along the way. Message for available dates for the school holidays.

It's so nice when you get great feedback from guests.

"Thankyou so much for making your beautiful home available to us for the weekend. It was out of this world. Loved the bush, beautiful grounds, privacy, sea view, bird song and cicadas and of course the style, wooden home, the crockery, furniture etc. Everything was so beautifully done Such an ideal setup so Nanna could have her space on one side and leave daughter and grandson in the other.

Would recommend this to everyone.

When visiting Akaroa, add going on a cruise with Akaroa Dolphins to your To Do list. A family owned and run business. We found out a lot more about Akaroa with Bainsy's commentary and the onboard service from Aommy was first class. Buster the dog was definately a highlight, especially when he could sense the dolphins. We were able to see Fantail Cottage from the harbour which was a lovely photo opportunity.
