“Our stay at Horse and Stow was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations and made for the perfect weekend away.
The cabin was beautifully designed, warm, and so cozy. We loved relaxing by the fireplace, cooking on the BBQ, soaking in the outdoor bath, and sitting around the outdoor fire under the stars. The shower was amazing, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bean bags were the perfect spot to take in the stunning views.
We also had an amazing time trying the clay bird shooting, archery, and axe throwing. It was such a fun experience, and finishing it all off with a cold beer at the lodge was the perfect way to end the afternoon.
One of the highlights was hearing Kimberly and Luke share their family’s history and seeing the passion they’ve poured into creating Horse and Stow. Learning that much of the lodge was built using timber milled from their own farm made the experience even more special. The care, craftsmanship, and connection to the land shine through in every detail.
To top it all off, we got engaged during our stay. Horse and Stow will forever hold a special place in our hearts and will always be somewhere we’ll remember with so much happiness.
