Did you know the Jetty was constructed in October 2019 before any of the residents moved in. This provided easy access to the Ngākōroa Stream and Pahurehure Inlet, which weaves around Auranga. The structure follows Ngākōroa Stream's tides and was designed as a way to honour water and protect the coast.

Kiwi’s love the outdoors and this Jetty provides daily opportunities to get out on the water from kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing with the kids, among other water sports

Did you know that Auranga has a Play Truck that visits the Village Square fortnightly on a Thursday from 10:30am – 12:30pm. It’s open to all kids from 0-5 years old and we welcome you to bring your little one/ones along for some fun!

The Play Trucks next visit will be on the 1st September - we hope to see you there 😀
