The latest data released on New Zealand's inflation rate reveals a decrease to 6.7% from 7.2% in the previous quarter.

The encouraging part is that the inflation rate has turned out to be lower than the projections made by economists and banks, which were in the range of 6.9% to 7.3%.

This data offers an optimistic signal that inflationary pressures are easing, providing a foundation for potential interest rate cuts in the near future.

The inflation rate in New Zealand is still pretty high, but the good news is that it's starting to go down.

Market Update MARCH 2023-

I'm pleased to share with you the latest market report for West Auckland, covering March 2023. This report is based on data sourced from REINZ, I've put together a comprehensive snapshot of the real estate market in various suburbs, including median sale prices and the number of new listings. It's worth noting that new listings in the area are primarily sourced from Trade Me, the largest platform used to advertise property.

Compared to February, the March market report for West Auckland shows a decrease in median days on market and an increase in median prices, with the exception of West Harbour and Swanson.

Median days on market decreased by 8.2% on average.
Median prices increased by 6.8% on average.
New listings increased by 166.7% on average, while sold listings increased by 25.7% on average

Happy Easter Everyone!!

I also want to give a quick shoutout to all the amazing artists here in West Auckland who participated in this year's easter coloring competition. Your artwork seriously blew me away - it's clear to see that we've got some seriously talented folks in our community!

In addition, I'm stoked to have been able to provide the easter eggs for Auckland Kindergarten Association easter egg hunt. Seeing the kids' faces light up with excitement was truly heartwarming.
