🚨 INTERFACULTY SPORTS REMINDER 🚨

We hope you are all having an amazing semester so far! Just a quick reminder that the Interfaculty Volleyball, Netball, and Rugby 10's Tournament is coming up. Details below:

👉 Who? Men's Tournament and Women's Tournament

👉 Who? Men's Tournament and Women's Match
👉 Where? Colin Maiden Park

Come on down and JOIN US! The Volleyball and Netball tournament will be held over several weeks, while the Rugby 10's competition will be held on one day. Plenty of prizes to win, heaps of fun, and possibly bragging rights over your friends from other faculties 👀

This tournaments are great if you want to get involved, but don't quite want to commit to weekly games. Please note that these are very popular sports so make sure you sign up!

📣 BADMINTON SIGN UPS 📣

Badminton is always one of the most popular sports in the interfaculty competition! It's happening this year on the 20th of August as an all-day tournament, with both mixed female and male teams.

📢 E-SPORTS SIGN UPS 📢

We also have esports coming up on the 18th and 19th of August! The game this year is *VALORANT* and the venue is yet TBC.

E-sports is very new to the interfaculty competition, so if you have interest be sure to get involved. It is always such a fun day, where you meet loads of new people and get to eat heaps of delicious food!

📢 INDOOR NETBALL SIGN UPS 📢

We hope you all are having a great inter-semester break! This is just a quick post to remind you that the interfaculty indoor netball tournament is coming up on the 7th of August. It's a single-day tournament and it's mixed, so everyone can play!

This tournament is great if you want to get involved with netball, but don't quite want to commit to weekly games. This is definitely one of the more popular sports, so be sure to sign up ASAP if you want to play. We can't wait to see you all there! 🤩🤩

This Sunday the 22nd of May, we have our single day indoor cricket tournament! This will be held at Action Indoor Sports in Mount Roskill. Teams will be 50/50 male and female, with 4 of each gender in a team 🏏🏏

If you're a pro or have never played before, this tournament is open for all. Come along for some yummy food and the opportunity to get to know some of your property cohort!

📢 ULTIMATE FRISBEE SIGN UPS 📢

This weekend we have the ultimate frisbee tournament on Saturday the 14th. It's at the Auckland Domain and will be having a mixed team, so everyone can get involved!

Even if you have never played it before, this sport is so much fun! Since it's only a one-day tournament, you really have nothing to lose - come along and give it a go! We can't wait to see you all there 🤩🤩🤩

📢 BASKETBALL SIGN UPS 📢

In about a month we have the interfaculty basketball tournament starting from the 3rd of May to the 27th of May! We will be having separate women's and men's Property Pirate teams, so everyone can get involved 🏀🏀

Games are based at the Sports Centre on Campus, and since University is going back in person - there literally is no excuse not to play! This ongoing tournament is sure to be heaps of fun, so make sure you get your name down before there's no space! It's such a unique and fun way to meet some of your property peers.

📢 FUTSAL SIGN UPS 📢

Our futsal competition is happening in about a month, stating on Monday 2nd of May and ending on Friday 27th of May. Games are played at the UoA Sports Centre on Wynyard Street, with separate male & female competitions.

Futsal is always one of our most successful Property Pirate Sports, so be sure to get involved! It's a great way to meet other people studying property, and there is always free food/drink ⚽⚽

📢 KI O RAHI IS THIS SATURDAY 📢

We have joined forces with the mighty Commerce Cougars for a combined Property/Commerce team 🏴‍☠️ 🐯

This is only the second year that UoA Sport have run Ki O Rahi, so it's the perfect time to get involved. Teams are mixed and it's just a single day tournament on the 17th starting at 10am at Colin Maiden Park.

It's still not too late to sign up and there will be food and drink supplied for you all on the day.
