✈️ Moving to New Zealand? Finding the right place to stay can make all the difference.
Starting a new life in a new country is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. While you're looking for a permanent home, enrolling children in school, setting up bank accounts, or getting to know Auckland, having a comfortable base makes the transition much easier.
At Fernhill Cottages, many of our guests are new migrants who stay with us for several weeks or months while they settle into their newlife in New Zealand.
Our fully furnished cottages include everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen and laundry to fibre Wi-Fi and comfortable living spaces. Most importantly, you'll have a warm and cosy home away from home during Auckland's winter months and beautiful outdoor spaces to use all year round.
Set on seven peaceful acres just minutes from Albany Village, Fernhill offers the perfect balance of convenience, space and comfort while you find your feet.
🌿 Your home away from home while you begin your New Zealand journey.

🏡 Not all temporary accommodation is designed for longer stays.
With Auckland's cold, wet winter weather sticking around, having somewhere warm, comfortable and fully set up for everyday living makes all the difference.
Whether you're between homes, renovating, relocating to Auckland, or waiting for insurance repairs, life doesn't stop. You still need a proper kitchen to cook in, a laundry for the family, reliable Wi-Fi for work and school, and space to relax at the end of the day.
At Fernhill Cottages, many of our guests stay for weeks or months rather than just a few nights. Our fully furnished cottages offer a warm and cosy home away from home during life's transitions, giving you the comfort and flexibility to settle in and focus on what comes next.
