Another exciting update here at The Grey!

Here are the highlights of the work completed in February:

-The installation of balcony tiles and timber soffits is almost completed.
-Completion of the landscaping strip.
-The construction of storage lockers is now finished, providing those residents who purchased them with additional convenience and space.
-Ongoing commissioning of services.

Here's what's scheduled to be finalised before completion in the upcoming weeks:

-Final touches are underway in common hallways, service rooms, lifts, and the entrance area.
-We'll be installing divider screens and balustrades to enhance privacy and safety on the balconies.
-Level 5 internal work is well underway including the installation of louvretec.
-Installation of bike racks.
-The initial internal defecting review for the majority of the apartments by the architects.

CMP advises that due to circumstances outside of their control there will be a delay in the expected completion by a couple of weeks. As a result, the new projected completion date is towards the end of March, with settlements now expected in mid to late April.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break, enjoying the delightful weather we’ve been fortunate to experience!

We are thrilled to share some key milestones here at The Grey:

- Levels 1 - 4: All internal fit outs have been completed. The architects will commence their inspections this week.

- Level 5: Internal fit outs are nearing completion with bathroom tiles, timber floors, and kitchen installations currently underway.

- Exterior: The balcony tiles, landscape planting, and timber soffits are now underway.

- Upcoming Focus: Glass balustrades for the north-facing apartments, entrance lobby, lift fit out, and building signage are next in line for completion.

Our best estimate at this time is that CMP will be completed by early March. All going well, we anticipate settlements to take place in mid to late March.

As the festive season draws closer, we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Exciting things are happening at The Grey as we approach completion in early 2024.

We’re thrilled to share the latest developments with you, that are shaping your future homes.

Site Progress:

- Levels 1, 2 and 3 are nearing completion and the architects will be undertaking their initial inspections early in the new year.
- Stone installation to kitchens on level 4 are in progress.
- Internal fit out works are progressing well to levels 4 and 5.
- Vector has completed the installation of the transformer in the building - with the mains power now on.
- Watercare and Chorus are also now connected to the building.

We have some exciting new updates from a busy couple of months!

Scaffolding has come down on the site and you can now see how good the exterior façade of The Grey looks. The tower crane is scheduled to come down next Monday and Tuesday weather depending.

We have also made significant progress inside:
- Painting to levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 is now complete.
- All Tiling has been finished on levels 1, 2 and 3.
- Kitchen installation to levels 1, 2 and 3 have been completed.
- The Timber floors are also already underway on levels 1 and 2.

We have also started flooring preparations for levels 3 and 4, and the second fix for bathrooms are underway for levels 1, 2 and 3.
