It was once again an immense honour for us, Raj Singh and Ashima Singh to host and present the 12th Indian NewsLink Sports, Community, Arts & Culture Awards on 27 July, Monday. Every year this event reminds us that success is not measured only by medals, trophies, or titles—but by the lives we touch, the communities we build, and the legacy we leave behind.
The Indian NewsLink Awards have become much more than an awards ceremony. They are a celebration of New Zealand's multicultural spirit, recognising the extraordinary individuals, volunteers, artists, athletes, and community leaders whose dedication enriches our nation and inspires future generations. It is a privilege to stand on that stage and share the stories of so many remarkable people.
Our heartfelt thanks to Chris Hipkins MP for joining us and showing his continued support for our diverse communities. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all the Members of Parliament, community leaders, sponsors, dignitaries, performers, volunteers, and guests whose presence made the evening so special.
A very special thank you goes to Indian Newslink -Venkat Raman and the entire Indian NewsLink family. Your vision, commitment, and countless hours of hard work have built an event that not only celebrates excellence but also unites communities from every corner of Aotearoa. Your passion continues to create opportunities for unsung heroes to be recognised and honoured.
To every finalist and award recipient—congratulations. Your stories of resilience, dedication, and excellence remind us all that greatness begins with service, perseverance, and a willingness to make a difference.
Thank you for once again trusting us to be part of this prestigious occasion. We are truly humbled, deeply grateful, and look forward to continuing to celebrate the people who make New Zealand stronger, kinder, and more connected.
Together, we celebrate excellence.
Together, we celebrate diversity.
Together, we celebrate community.
❤️ Thank you, and see you again next year!
