Another week wrapped up, and another home brought back to a high standard — ready for paint and a fresh chapter.

This one has a story.

An investment property in Waiuku was left in rough shape after a tenant nightmare, with the homeowner facing a hefty repair bill and struggling to picture the end result.

A 25-year-old home, heavily damaged — holes through multiple walls in nearly every room, dated textured wallpaper, and plenty of work ahead.

But where others see a headache, we see a plan.

Strip it back. Rebuild it right. Bring it back better than before.

Out came the old wallpaper.
On went a fresh skim coat.
Now this home is well on its way to looking brand new again.

Flawless ex*****on from start to finish on this one. We’re big believers that when a project is planned properly from the beginning, everything comes together exactly as it should.

Attention to detail was key — especially in critical lighting areas — ensuring every surface delivers the right finish, day or night. No surprises, just consistency.

Builders impressed. Painters happy. Clients excited to move in.
That’s what it’s all about.

On show here is the transition between finishes — GIB and plaster meeting tile and stone, intersecting timber beams and brackets, all tied together with sharp, clean lines. Finished off with a Level 5 skim in the master for the evening sunset.

Another one ☝️

There’s something about a good skim coat that just makes the job more enjoyable. I guess it’s knowing the finish it gives at the paint stage is next level. Even though all the groundwork disappears, seeing that final result makes it worth it every time.

Well this one’s seen better days !
Possibly the worst water damaged area of board we’ve even laid eyes on!

Mixer leaking , shower head with no seal, 30% of water coming in went straight back behind the liner! 😲

Working closely with LP Plumbing to get this sorted for the client. Shower and vanity out in a hour, wallboard removed, fans on for the weekend and back together it will go after some timber treatment! Two companies, one job, easy communication and flawless process to make it easy for the customer 😎
