Happy Father's Day, Todd!
People often ask me what it's like working with my dad, and every time I give the same answer: I'm stoked to be working with my best mate.
There was a stretch of over a decade where we lived apart (Todd overseas, me back home in NZ) so getting to work alongside him every single day now isn't something I take for granted, and it feels like we are making up for lost time!
Todd's taught me more than just the ins and outs of real estate - he's exemplified what it means to show up for people, to do right by them even when it's the harder road, and to treat every client like they're family.
We've had our fair share of long days, tricky negotiations, and the odd disagreement over systems and processes, but at the end of it, we're still father and son first, business partners second.
So today isn't just about celebrating Todd as a dad - it's about celebrating the kind of protector, mentor, and mate he's been to me, in and out of the office. Not many sons get a dad that can also be all of the above!
Happy Father's Day, Dad, from your son.
Here's to many more years of Team Todd & Josh!

As lifelong tabletop gamers, we are both SUPER excited about Hobby Lords New Lynn opening this Friday! 🎲

There's nothing like a proper FLGS (friendly local game store, for the uninitiated) to bring our community together, a real-life gathering spot in a world that's gone way too online.

Whether you're pushing minis across a battlefield, cracking open a fresh booster, or just after some primer and paint, having a local hobby home base is a huge win for West Auckland.

Massive respect to a new business backing itself - we'll be regulars, no question. Expect to see us in for Warhammer evenings (for the greater good!) and MTG draft nights. After a good day closing deals - nothing sounds better than a solid win than rolling dice with mates.

Come say hi, support local, and let's build a hobby scene New Lynn can be proud of.

Also, seriously considering putting together a Real Estate commander deck - see attached 🤣

Roll high, trade fair, see you at the table. 🐉⚔️🃏
