Prior to real estate, I enjoyed a career in advertising and became one of the top consultants with the NZ Herald’s Community publications. My passion for owning property and helping people with such important life decisions led me to a career in real estate. I chose to work for Barfoot & Thompson because they are the most trusted company in the market-place after nearly 100 years. The company model allows any of their 1,700+ salespeople to introduce buyers and share information on any property that is listed. This increases the reach of a property marketing campaign and creates effective competition for a successful sale in the shortest possible time. I don’t restrict myself though. I sell luxury homes in and around the Auckland city centre, on the North Shore where I used to live, and many of Auckland’s surrounding suburbs as well. I currently live in the city centre and apart from walking to work, there are so many benefits to city living. For me, an apartment is very secure and easy to maintain. My backyard is Albert Park and the Auckland Domain and I don’t have to mow any lawns! Cafes, restaurants, shops and events are on my doorstep. With so much investment taking place in and around the city from public spaces to transport options, the future is very exciting. Outside of work I love going to the gym, practising target archery at One Tree hill, getting out in nature and cycling along the waterfront. I love to make a positive difference in the world and people's lives. Charities I support are the SPCA, St John Ambulance, the Red Cross, Salvation Army and of course, the Barfoot & Thompson’s five-star partnership with the Starship Foundation.
