It’s a unique and increasingly sought after geographic area, with streets of beautifully restored villas and bungalows offering proximity to the city centre, the harbour and the lifestyle increasingly desired by Aucklanders. Passionate about giving back to the community, Ray White Damerell Group are sponsors of Westmere and Bayfield schools joint event the biannual “Spring Ball”. Environmentally the team keep a portion of Meola creek clean and planted with native trees, as well as undertaking a yearly clean up of Cox’s Bay. Damerell Group Director Gower Buchanan has also called auctions for Western Springs College and the New Zealand Contemporary Dance Company- raising thousands of dollars to help these groups achieve their goals too. Meanwhile our other director, Simon Damerell has had a lifelong commitment to the environment, personally planting in excess of 2 native trees for each year of his life.
