See the police posing as window washers at the lights in Auckland today???
it annoys me that even when caught doing an act that's both dangerous to the public and probably illegal, police try to justify by talking about driver fatalities. No. I'm tired of justifications from those who are meant to serve New Zealanders (govt especially) for infringing on kiwis rights to privacy , or safety.
Just respect the Bill of rights and be of service, that's your job. A discussion of why this is so important is well over due.
Without or Bill of rights, we lose our Kiwi mana , our point of real difference in the world, what has made this country special. The excuses for ignoring 8 major points in our Bill have be found wanting. It's wrong and those in charge should be held accountable. They should be preparing for their court hearing to prove they had correct info to justify a most serious infringement, and it should be their peers not themselves who decide if it was justified
