My real estate journey began as a young teenager, working in my family’s first Ray White office in South Auckland. That early start ingrained in me the core values that still drive my approach today—hard work, dedication, and genuine client care. I got my real estate salesperson license during the school holidays and made my first sale at 17 years old. With the view to one day take over the family business (which grew to four offices), I gained experience in all aspects of the real estate business, even overseeing the company while my parents travelled overseas numerous times. Now, as a mother, instead of running my own office, I am dedicated to achieving excellent results for those who entrust the sale of their home to me. I'm Back Home — And More Committed Than Ever

One of my proudest achievements was running the New York City Marathon to raise funds for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, promoting awareness of the importance of early detection. I have supported De Paul House in Northcote Point in their annual Christmas drive, promoting the collection, which cumulated in donating 4 car loads full of food, toys and clothing for in need families. In 2025 my charity focus has turned to supporting Woven Earth- a grassroots charity creating loving homes for family violence survivors across Auckland. By furnishing homes tailored to each person’s unique needs – especially children – they nurture stability, restore dignity and empower survivors rebuilding safe, healthy lives. Compared to the previous month, the median sale price has increased significantly (February was $1,180,000), sales volumes are up by 53, and days on market have dropped notably (February was 61).

Here is an updated Financial Markets comment by Karen Tatterson, from Loan Market-

"It is hard to believe so much has happened since the last OCR announcement. The Reserve Bank's confidence has shifted due to the outbreak of war in the Middle East and the resulting significant increase in oil & petrol prices. In saying this, they have adopted a wait and see approach and kept the OCR at 2.25%.

In the last few days many of the main banks announced they expect at least three OCR increases over the rest of this year, reaching an OCR rate of 3.00% by year end.

This creates some uncertainty, so what do you do about your home loan rates? The key is to lock in some rates for a term that provides comfort and certainty of repayments. Most loans being refixed are choosing the 2 year fixed rate term. When doing this, it is important to consider your short-, medium-, and long-term goals. If possible, discuss your options with your mortgage adviser to ensure you choose the rate that is best suits your circumstances rather than focusing only on the lowest rate.
