Put simply, land covenants are rules that are registered on land titles. They influence how land can be used and are put in place by the original land owner (like the developer or local Council). They may apply to anything from dwelling size and construction materials to landscaping or fencing.

They fall into two categories:
Positive covenants – these require action from the owner
Restrictive covenants – these prevent the owner from doing something

Summer Painting Tip

Play it safe and avoid painting on very hot days this summer. Extreme weather causes paint to dry at a much faster rate, which can lead to the paint blistering or peeling, poor adhesion and unsightly stroke marks. It’s better to delay your painting for a few days or attack those paint jobs earlier in the morning or later in the day.
