Born and raised in Auckland, I love this city and all that it has to offer. I'm involved in the community through rugby and its various clubs. 2 houses sold at auction in the same day. And what exciting auctions they both were. What I loved the most is the environment created in both auctions.
The first 2 bidders backwards and forwards bidding. When one buyer won the auction both parties shook hands, one congratulating the successful party the other commiserating with the party who missed out.
The second auction after the hammer dropped the new and old owner had a chat and gave each other a hug.
These moments were created by myself and Paul, my amazing manager Steve and our fabulous auctioneers. But most importantly the auction process and how honest and transparent it is.
Love moments like this, love my job.
