mming pool is heated by the sun. The architecturally designed house and apartment were finished in 2010 and have wide views from Coromandel to the Whangarei Heads. You will need a 4WD vehicle for access. Bring your own or ask about vehicle hirage. When you walk into your lounge, a look out of the panoramic windows will make you realise that you are not just looking at a view, but that you have become part of it. Take a seat on the comfy couch and gaze at the ever-changing views over the water. Keep an eye out for dolphins in the bay, whales in the ocean, gannets over head, and cray fisherman and oceanliners on the water. You may occassionally check that your book is still in your lap and that your drink is still at hand. But you may completely forget about them, too. Once you are totally relaxed, explore the island, or go for a swim in the unheated shared pool. A pebble beach is down below, a 20 minute climb down a challenging track takes you to the rocks.
