He then sold up in the late 1980s to embark on a law degree. On completing an LL.B., he was employed by one of New Zealand’s top law firms – Simpson Grierson – where he specialised in building and construction law. Five years later, Alex decided to branch out on his own as a real estate salesperson. His legal background gave him a fantastic grounding in real estate. Alex was immediately successful and quickly became a dominant presence in Auckland’s market.
