I have been with PGG Wrightson since 1984, having spent time as a livestock representative in St Andrews and Fairlie before moving to the finance division at the Timaru branch in 1992. My involvement in real estate began with managing the South Canterbury urban and rural sales force for Pyne Gould Guinness in 1993 and I was appointed Blenheim branch manager in 1997, moving on to filling the dual role of district manager and real estate sales manager until 2010. I then focused on Marlborough real estate sales while retaining responsibility for the Kaikoura market and managing sales in the Nelson region. As well as being one of five PGG Wrightson Real Estate Accredited Auctioneers, I am Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. The Marlborough region is quite distinct from the traditional PGG Wrightson area of operation, having a mix of rural property types sold, ranging from high-value viticultural land to traditional pastoral units, high country, dairy farms and lifestyle blocks. Outside of work, I have a family of six who enjoy camping, tramping and all sports. I have refereed rugby to provincial level, and continue to referee at a high level locally.

At our recent conference in Oamaru, we held a wine auction and were delighted to raise $1,025 for this important cause. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, bid, and helped make the auction such a success. Together, we're helping make a difference for those affected by cancer in our community. 💛

I was asked to be MC for the afternoon session and evening awards in the historic Oamaru steam punk area!

Always a great night celebrating success with our awesome South Island teams.

I managed to sneak Tasman number 1 Rural ,number 2 Res /lifestyle agent ,and they surprised me with a PGWRE good bu**er award !!

A successful night with a surprise auction seeing as donate $1025 to daffodil day ,and a great party -of course !!!

A lot of hard work has seen great result on the sale of 3 Rose St ,Havelock .
Out of town buyers have a holiday retreat with great boat storage and access to the Pelorus Sound .
Our service doesn’t stop there as we give lots of after sale advice on helping our vendor find their next home —Real estate can be very rewarding -I think I deserve a few weeks leave now !!
