🚛 WHERE’S THE BOYS WEDNESDAY? 👀

This week, we’re down in Sanson, where the boys are busy getting stuck into a re-pile job! 🏡🔨

And while we were there, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to put one of the familiar faces of Central House Movers in front of the camera 🎥

Meet Hamish! 👋

Hamish has been part of the CHM team for 15+ years and has practically grown up around house moving. In fact, he’s been on the job since he was about 7 years old, tagging along with his uncle Aaron and learning the ropes from a young age. Talk about starting early! 😂

Fast forward all these years and Hamish is still out there getting stuck in, helping the team tackle everything from house relocations, towing loads, and to jobs like this one in Sanson 💪🚛

So, while the boys get on with the re-piling, we thought we’d have a chat with Hamish about his journey and what they are up to today.

15+ years, countless houses and plenty of stories - we reckon Hamish has seen a thing or two! 👀😂

🏡 MOVING MONDAYS 🚛

Now this was a move with a few twists and turns! 👀

This week, this rotary platform made its way from Dargaville ➡️ New Plymouth - but not in one piece! 🔄🚛

To get this specialized equipment safely to its destination, the rotary platform was transported in two pieces, making its way south through some of New Zealand’s trickier roads and, of course, through the Mount Messenger Tunnel! ⛰️

A bit of careful planning, some precision driving and a great team effort got it from A to B and ready to get put to work in New Plymouth💪

It’s not every day you see a rotary platform making its way through a tunnel! 😂

Another interesting journey for the Central House Movers crew and another job safely delivered ✅

We’re incredibly proud to work alongside the team at Presidential Homes, helping bring their beautiful brand-new homes to life and safely getting them from build site to their new destination 🚛🏠

After more than a decade of working together, it’s pretty special to know that our two teams have built more than just a great working relationship - we’ve built genuine friendships along the way ❤️

We’re all working towards the same goal: delivering beautiful homes and making sure our clients are thrilled with the end result. And when you’ve got two teams who trust each other, communicate well and aren’t afraid to tackle the challenging jobs, there’s not much we can’t make happen! 💪

A huge thank you to Presidential Homes for the kind words and for trusting us with their homes year after year. We genuinely value the relationship we have with you and look forward to many more years, plenty more challenging moves and lots of successful projects together!

🚛 WHERE’S THE BOYS WEDNESDAY? 👀

Well… pretty much everywhere! 😂

The boys have clocked up some serious kilometers this week, with the trucks popping up all over the North Island! 🗺️🚛

From Dargaville ➡️ New Plymouth, where the team have been busy relocating a rotary platform, to Onewhero with a brand-new home🏡

We’ve also had plenty of new stock houses on the move, along with a whole lot of other jobs happening across the country👀

Safe to say, there hasn’t been much time for the boys to sit still this week! 😂

Different towns, different houses, different challenges — but the same reliable Central House Movers crew getting it done💪🏠

But in our defense, we’ve been “so busy moving houses” that we forgot to post about moving houses! 😂🚛

We absolutely love hearing stories like this - not only did our team move Katelyn’s parents’ home over 20 years ago, but we’ve now had the privilege of relocating a home for the next generation too!

There’s something pretty special about being trusted by the same family across the years, and we’re so grateful to Katelyn for taking the time to share her experience with us 🙌
