Another exciting stage reached at 91 Shakespeare Street 👏

External cladding is now almost complete, the GIB stopping has wrapped up, and the painters have started to bring life to the interiors.

Our kitchens will also soon be installed. This is always one of the most exciting moments, when the spaces really start to come together and feel like homes.

With just two units remaining, there is still an opportunity for buyers to make some custom selections and add a more personal touch to the finishing details while construction progresses.

Afternoon sun peering through on Gillies Ave ☀️

Framing work is continuing to progress on the second storey apartments within the Live & Work side of The Colliery, with roof trusses expected to be completed over the next couple of weeks.

As the structure continues to take shape, the scale and vision for the development is becoming more visible with every stage. Designed to combine modern living with flexible commercial functionality, the Live & Work spaces are starting to give a real sense of how the finished environment will feel.

One of the things we’re most looking forward to is seeing more natural light begin to flow through the spaces as the build progresses. Something that has been carefully considered throughout the design process.

We’ve reached an exciting milestone at The Colliery, with some of the more visual details of the development now starting to take shape.

This week, work began on the New York loft-inspired red brick exterior. A major step in bringing the character and vision of the development to life. Inspired by the timeless industrial architecture of New York warehouse lofts, the material palette has been carefully chosen to give the space a bold yet refined feel.

Over the next week, we’ll also see some of the large-scale joinery installed, including the oversized windows that will help define the commercial spaces. These elements won’t just enhance the overall aesthetic, they’ll also bring in an incredible amount of natural light and strengthen the open, loft-style feel throughout the development.

It’s exciting seeing the vision for The Colliery continuing to come together piece by piece.

A quick update from Mario.

A man of many talents… although we’re not entirely convinced building is one of them. We might leave that to the pros.

The team on site has been making great progress this week, with the timber mid-floors almost completed on the Live & Work side of The Colliery. Another milestone nearly ticked off as the development continues to take shape.
