Getting ready to put your property on the market? Or maybe you just want to stay on top of general maintenance. Either way, these tips will help get your home inspection-ready and are also perfect for ticking off those springtime jobs.

𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧:

✅ Remove moss, mould or lichen from the roof system. Clear gutters and valleys of debris.
✅ Wash the exterior cladding with a soft brush and hose to remove grime and organic build-up.
✅ Clear any landscaping from the base of the cladding. 150mm to paved areas, 225mm to any gardens.
✅ Maintain any areas of flaking or bubbling paint with the appropriate paint system.
✅ Ensure all cladding penetrations such as hose taps and pipes are sealed to the cladding. Seal exterior joinery to the soffit lining.
✅ Water blast pathways and patios. Clean down any timber decking and re-seal if needed.
✅ Clear leaves and debris from driveways and drains.
