🌿 Happy National Wildlife Day!
Here in Christchurch, we are absolutely spoiled for green spaces. Whether you're living near the sheltered trees of Fairway Park or taking a weekend stroll through Avonhead Park, our communities are teeming with native birdlife.
Pro-tip for homeowners: Planting native shrubs like Hebes or Kowhai is a fantastic, low-maintenance way to boost your property's street appeal while creating a sanctuary for local tūī and fantails.

✈️ What a fantastic few days in Nelson! 🏆
We’ve just returned from the Raine & Horne New Zealand Conference and Awards, and what an incredible experience it was.
From inspiring speakers and connecting with colleagues from around the country, to celebrating the achievements of our network, it was a wonderful reminder of why we love what we do.
To top it all off, we were incredibly proud to receive the Community Award. It's a recognition that means so much because it reflects something we're genuinely passionate about—supporting our local community and giving back wherever we can.
Rod & I wish to give a huge thank you to everyone who makes our journey so rewarding—our clients, colleagues, friends and families. We couldn't do it without your trust and support.
Now... it's time to bring that inspiration back home and get back to doing what we love most—helping people make their next move. 🏡

🏡 Canterbury Market Update – June 2026

The latest REINZ figures paint a positive picture for our local property market.

✔️ Buyers are still active across all price brackets.
✔️ Sellers are generally pricing their homes in line with today's market, helping properties attract genuine interest.
✔️ Open homes and auctions continue to see good attendance, with multiple buyers competing on well-presented homes.

While winter traditionally brings a slightly slower pace, confidence remains high thanks to Canterbury's strong local economy and ongoing investment throughout the region.
Looking ahead, most industry professionals expect the market to remain steady over winter, with momentum likely to build as we head into spring—particularly if more properties come onto the market.
If you've been wondering whether now is a good time to buy or sell, the current market is showing plenty of encouraging signs.

Thinking about making a move? We'd be happy to chat about what these trends mean for your property and your plans.

🏠12a Date Crescent, Aidanfield - SOLD!
This one is a great example of why it's important to adapt to the market.
After marketing the property via Deadline Sale, I changed gears to an Enquiries Over pricing strategy, which brought a fresh group of buyers through the door—and the result? SOLD! 🎉
A huge congratulations to my purchaser, who fell in love with the direct reserve access and is looking forward to daily walks with her dog. 🐾
Thank you so much to the lovely owners who put an immense amount of trust in me & allowed me to do what I do best. I'm truly grateful. ❤️

Every home has a buyer—sometimes it's simply about finding the right strategy to connect the two.
