Creative, detail-oriented and with a brain that never switches off, Tim supports marketing, design and finance at MH. Known for turning a five-minute conversation into three new projects, his mind is usually moving faster than the rest of us can keep up with and he’s determined to explore every possibility and make sure the end result is the best it can be.

🔨Why did you get into the construction industry?
When I was younger I always liked to build and design things and even considered a career in architecture. I enjoy the creative aspect of house design and how the industry and styles evolve. 


🔨Favourite cladding of current?
A cedar and Roman brick combination would be my preference, though the final choice is always guided by the surrounding environment of the home.

🔨One must have in a new build?
if you have a few cars/ toys or would love some extra storage, definitely a three car garage.

🔨What is your favourite thing about Canterbury?
I enjoy hunting, fishing and the outdoors in general so Canterbury has alot to offer. The nightlife’s also great. 


🔨Early bird or night owl?
I’m pretty good with both but lean towards a night owl.

Known for getting straight to the point and calling things as they are, Jack is head of finance, overseeing budgeting, reporting, funding, and financial operations within MH Property. When challenges arise, he’s quick to tackle them head-on and keep projects moving in the right direction.

I’ve always had a passion for home design and enjoy seeing how thoughtful planning and attention to detail can create spaces that people love to live in.

Roman brick paired with cedar.

🔨One must have in a new build?
A well-designed kitchen with plenty of storage and a functional layout. It’s the heart of the home and a space where families spend a lot of time, so getting it right makes a huge difference.

🔨What is your favourite thing about Canterbury?
The lifestyle. You get the best of both worlds with a city, beaches and the mountains all within easy reach.

From a young age I would always be making things, so once school was no longer my thing I got stuck into the trade at the early age of 16.

🔨 Favourite cladding of current ?
It would have to be Roman brick.

🔨 One must have in a new build?
If the budget allows, hydronic underfloor heating.

🔨 What is your favorite thing about Canterbury
The new city and being so close to mountains and the ocean with so many activities on our door step.
